Parwaaz, meaning “flight” embodies the soaring ambitions, dreams, and untapped potential of countless young minds who yearn for opportunity but are often held back by a lack of access, guidance, or exposure. It stands as a powerful metaphor for possibility, promise, and upward momentum.Â
An initiative of Kashmir Care Foundation (KCF), Parwaaz is a dynamic and transformative mentorship and internship facilitation initiative designed to empower early-stage students. The program aims to equip talented youth with the tools, skills, and mentorship needed to navigate and thrive in competitive academic, research and corporate both nationally and globally.
At its core, Parwaaz is built to bridge the gap between classroom education and the practical realities of professional life. Through strategic mentorship and partnerships, the program facilitates access to prestigious internship placements in leading national and international research labs, pharmaceutical companies, universities, and multinational corporations (MNCs).
By fostering exposure to real-world experiences and nurturing talent through personalized support, Parwaaz seeks to level the playing field, ensuring that bright students, regardless of geography or background, can take flight toward their fullest potential.

Many students, especially from underserved backgrounds, often have the talent but lack networks or the guidance to break into high-impact spaces including national and international research laboratories, multinational companies, pharmaceutical firms, law firms, news organization, etc, this is where PARWAAZ steps in to bridge that gap.

PARWAAZ aims to:

- Offer resume-building workshops tailored to targeted career paths.
- Provide mock interview training and coaching to boost confidence.

Each participant or group of participants is paired with a dedicated mentor from academia, research, healthcare, tech, or industry.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The program is designed for early-stage undergraduate and postgraduate students:
- Disciplines may include:
- Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry
- Physics, Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences
- Computer Science, Data Science, and Engineering
- Pharmaceutical and Allied subjects
- Humanities and Arts
- Product Designing/Marketing, HR/Talent Acquisition, Corporate Accounting, Social Media, Product Management, etc
Applicants should:
- Demonstrate curiosity, motivation, and a commitment to learning
- Be willing to engage actively with their mentors and peers
- Have a strong academic foundation but no prior experience is required
