Amjad Khan has over 3 decades of diversified experience in the areas of enterprise software sales management, infrastructure, business productivity, security, business continuity, networking, storage, database management, business intelligence, enterprise incentive compensation and project management. As the Area Lead for Modern Workplace and AI at Microsoft in Dubai, Amjad leads a team across the Middle East responsible for helping businesses to digitally transform their organizations by leveraging technology to empower their employees to do their best work.
Since joining Microsoft in 2006 in New York, Amjad has held various positions across Enterprise Sales and Global Partner Solutions teams both in the US as well as in Middle East & Africa. Amjad is known for creating high performance teams and building a culture of inclusiveness and accountability within his teams. Amjad holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications engineering and a master’s degree in computer science from City University in New York. Amjad started his schooling at Presentation Convent, then transferred to Burn Hall school where he completed his matriculation. After 2 years of high school at DAV school, Amjad enrolled in REC Srinagar, where he achieved a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication engineering.
